Inappropriate?Thank you for your question, it's one we have been getting throughout our development. We just returned from the EE RoadShow in Seattle and spoke to a wide range of developers and users of EE. It was the first public preview of ShopIgniter, and it went very well. We discussed some of our plans on how it will work with EE, including the fact that now with EE 2.0, both ShopIgniter and EE share a common code base - CodeIgniter. We are talking to an extension partner to build a connector for a tighter integration between both of our systems to deliver both content management and eCommerce in one unified system on the best framework there is.

Alan - any idea how the timeline for this is progressing? We are deciding whether to move forward with EE 1.6 or 2.0 and are having trouble planning for the ecom component of our site. Please let me know your timeline for 2.0. Seems like there's nothing for 1.6, right/ -
Amy - right now we don't have an ETA but we should soon. We will be releasing pricing and more information on our SaaS product shortly. Once that is out, we will start on the EE news.
