ShopIgniter Lands $3M in Venture Capital and new CEO
It is my pleasure to inform our community that we have closed a Series A venture round, led by Madrona Venture Group. The $3M round will help us market and sell our platform as well as guarantee our companies stability as we ramp up customers. The good news, however, doesn't stop there. We have also brought on a new CEO, Matt Compton, to join our team. Tom Alberg, the co-founder of Madrona and amazon.com board member has joined our Board of Directors. You can read more about it here:

Inappropriate? It sure is, not only can we now get our software out to the masses but our clients will benefit from added support, developers and staff.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Hey Alan, congrats! Reminds me of Engine Yard in Jan 08... we had just done our Series A.
I'm Lance from Chargify and (formerly) Engine Yard. I thanked you via Twitter for choosing us in your recent SaaS billing solution comparison, but wanted to say 'thanks' here, too.
We have a lot coming out over the next few days and months. With Grasshopper behind us and a growing team in place, we're building another customer-focused company that will last many years.
But we definitely can't do it without you and your input, so please let us know about features, pricing, and other business needs as we move forward.
Thanks.
--- Lance

Inappropriate? Will do Lance, thanks again. We want to form great partnerships with some of the top SaaS tools out there to show how products can co-exist and help any size company succeed without the need to reinvent the wheel. We will be releasing a list soon on all the tools we have selected on our site.
I’m happy
